This in effect makes Flickr completely useless to me and as a Pro member means not renewing my account. I have been using Flickr for years but is has now become almost impossible for me to upload to Flickr (ever so often one photo manages to slip through via the uploader or by email) but with the majority I get error messages. How can one get directly in touch with Flickr staff regarding this issue instead of using the Flickr commuinity for help? I can't find any link where I can report this problem. It's not offering what it should be - uploading my photos has turned into an arduous task, as it takes so bloody long clicking on 'Retry'! These are images of only a few KB, and they still fail, from multiple browsers and different OSes. Months have gone by, and what used to be a great service is spiralling into one that is borderline ridiculous. What happens when you try? Do you get the " file timed out " error? Why i cant upload photo's because i have never had this problem before, thanks You are not addressing staff here, this is a user to user forum. the "Old Adr option" is working.ĭear sir can you explain why i cant upload photo's because i have never had this problem before, thanksĪnd here are some additional complaints about upload issues: Since yesterday evening no uploading here either ("uploading timed ut"). I finally tried the email option and at least that form of uploading worked for me. I can't upload worked fine last night.Ĭouldn't upload last night.still can't tonight. Maybe people are fed up of reporting uploading issues as it appears all our reports of upload issues are falling on deaf ears. My upload issues remain, and have not got any better in the last 3-4 weeks. I shouldn't have said that things improve. Nevertheless there was at least one new report about upload issues today: In the last 24 hours the number of reports about upload issues, bad pandas and other technical glitches has apparantly been much lower than in the days before. That is quite impressive number of reports about upload issues.Īnd the latest posts in this thread are about upload issues too: Some more reports about upload problems in addition to those reports mentioned in my first post: Something I'm missing here? I'm relatively new here and all suggestions that pertain to this question are appreciated. I've uploaded more than a half dozen images in the last few days and only one is on my gallery. Why is it that some images post to my gallery while others don't? I've checked all my settings and they are all the same. Perhaps Flickr should start an official thread under "Hot Topics" with regard to upload issues in order to get to the bottom of the issues, similar to the thread devoted to login issues. But it seems that every time upload issues are solved for some users new upload issues occur for other users. After communicating with Flickr staff in the helpforum the problem was solved for me. Therefore I know how frustrating these upload problems are.
#Flickr uploadr not latest browser windows
But after the initial release of the windows uploader every single photo I tried to upload timed out for about two weaks.

I had no upload issues in the last weeks neither. Thus it might be a problem that only affects certain geographic locations.įWIW, I just uploaded 19 photos with no issues. There have been a lot of reports about upload issues from users in UK in the last days. I have just noticed that You are from UK. Tried the old windows uploader and that uploaded everything but some photos do not display properly. This was in firefox after upgrading to windows 10. I was uploading as recently as last week, no problems. Only Flickr knows if we can hope for improvement in the near future. In other words: You are not alone with upload issues. Here is a short list of other threads where users have reported upload issues in the last days: (1 to 100 of 149 replies in Flickr not uploading) Why the Bait and switch with 1000 photo uploads?
